Basic information: The aim of the project is to optimize reproduction management of dairy cattle with regard to changing climate, which is not only causing more intense heat, but also increased oxidative and metabolic stress. The project will also adhere to current EU strategy to reduce the use of hormonal treatment for farm animals. Three partially interconnected thematic blocks will fulϐil the goal: evaluation of fresh ejaculate with connection to oxidative stress of bulls and the possibility of targeted increase in the quality of insemination doses (ubiquitination, sexed); optimization of individual timing for insemination based on metabolic and oxidative stress during sonographic control of oestrus course; evaluation of biological effectiveness of OPU and IVF with regard to the mentioned stress in cows.
