Major scientific interests

  • Identification and quantification of changes in protein levels in porcine models of human diseases to characterize the models and identify candidate biomarkers
  • Analysis of tissues, body fluids and cells using mass spectrometry approaches
  • Search for candidate brain-specific biomarkers of neurodegeneration in biofluids and brain tissue during Huntington's disease progression on a Libechov minipig animal models.
