Major scientific interests
- Isolation and cultivation of RPE cells, cell viability assay, fluorescence techniques (confocal microscope, immunocytochemistry)
- Experimental investigation of the eye in the normal and diseased state at the cellular and molecular level, development of new treatments in the treatment of damaged corneas and retina (cell therapy, nanofibre cell implants).
